Vrindavan Classes — Prep to Year 10

Vrindavan Classes proudly offers a structured Malayalam Language Program for students from Prep to Year 10, designed to nurture language skills while strengthening cultural connection and identity.

Our program supports students at all levels — from beginners who are new to Malayalam, to students who speak the language at home and wish to develop stronger reading, writing, and communication skills. Through engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences, students build confidence in using Malayalam in both spoken and written forms.

Program Objectives

Our Malayalam classes aim to:

• Develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Malayalam

• Build vocabulary and correct pronunciation

• Strengthen reading fluency and comprehension

• Introduce grammar in a structured and age-appropriate manner

• Encourage confident communication in everyday contexts

• Promote awareness of Malayalam literature, stories, and cultural traditions

Program Structure (Prep to Year 10)

The program is carefully structured to match students’ developmental stages.

Prep – Year 2 (Foundation Level)

Students are introduced to Malayalam through:

• Basic sounds and letter recognition

• Listening and speaking activities

• Songs, stories, and visual learning

• Introduction to simple words and sentence formation

• Fun and interactive learning activities

The focus at this stage is on developing interest and confidence in the language.

Year 3 – Year 6 (Developing Level)

Students begin to strengthen their literacy skills through:

• Reading simple passages and stories

• Writing words and short sentences

• Vocabulary building and grammar basics

• Guided reading and comprehension activities

• Conversational practice

Students gradually develop independence in reading and writing Malayalam.

Year 7 – Year 10 (Advanced Level)

At this level, students focus on:

• Reading longer passages and short literature pieces

• Structured writing and sentence construction

• Grammar development and language accuracy

• Discussion and conversational skills

• Cultural and contextual understanding of the language

Students develop confidence in expressing ideas clearly in Malayalam.

Teaching Approach

Our teaching approach combines structured instruction with engaging activities to ensure students remain motivated and connected to learning. Lessons include:

We’re thrilled to kick off our 2026 KHSM Malayalam Language School

on February 1st! Classes will be held every Sunday at the Bella Bella community centre ,Clyde North.
KHSM Vrindavan Academy is currently awaiting Community Language School accreditation for the Malayalam language, which will be coming soon.

We’re looking forward to seeing our little Vrindavan explorers very soon!
